Everyone knows that to use Wilwood rear brakes you need to use the "Green" bearings. However most 8-3/4 axles are not 2.36" offset as required, the rotors will not fit over standard wheel studs, the back of the studs will also contact the parking brake, the center register is a different size, and you need an access hole in the flange to reach the retainer nuts. In addition, it's a great idea to upgrade your 40+ year old stock axles to handle the power of your new engine.
We have Moser Engineering make us these special heavy duty 30-spline axles with the correct offset, green bearings, special low-clearance screw-in studs, change the length to fit without removing the thrust block in the center, add an access hole, and the correct size center register to fit the rotor.
These axles are built to last and allow a true-bolt-on of rear Wilwood brakes with the parking brake with no issues.
